Snowpack

Signifficant loss to the snowpack was observed. What remains is thin and has a stout crust.  In a pit dug on a wind loaded E aspect at 6200ft we found a 57cm HS and the crust went down to 43cm.  The interface below the crust scored a CT10 and quickly refroze.  Windward slopes and all aspects less than 5000ft have little to no snow.
