Quick report
Wind slabs in alpine terrain have become very firm with no ski penetration. Any, steep, protected terrain which has not seen traffic in the last two weeks is very weak, with the potential for Dry Loose if you can find an undisturbed pocket. Skier traffic seems to be keeping this problem in check for now. See attached pit from below Thornton’s Rock in an area that received ski packing early December but has seen little to no traffic since then.
