Omally

Set out to ski into black lake and climb omally falls. Lots of whumpfing across the ball field. Didn't descend to black lake, because the gully was very very thin. Then went to ski the west face of omally. Got another whumpf, and a 45 ft crack under skis at 3900' west facing. Dug an ECT pit, failed on isolation, high quality sheer 14" down on a facet / density change interface. Solar effect ongoing. Turned around then. Good quality skiing on west and north aspects above 3500'. Observed a separate party of 2 turning around early on a different west aspect of omally, around 4000'.
