Quick report
Slabs are dense and 2 to 3 feet thick over our 2/2 surface hoar, making it difficult to impact the weak layer. We didn't observe any signs of instability, but the structure remains poor and we found propagating results on fragile surface hoar in one pit; the surface hoar was absent in another pit. There is also a newer layer of smaller-grained surface hoar about 12" to 18" deep that produced propagating results where slabs are stiffer. Snow surfaces are low density and faceting on northerlies (weak enough to be moderately persistent), and crusty on southerlies. There's likely some faceting occurring above or below the crusts on shoulder aspects or potentially high southerlies.

Snowpack
@10,000', north aspect: The 2/2 interface consisted of rounding, small grained facets, no surface hoar, about 60 cm deep. No fractures in stability tests and the layer appears to be decently bonded now. The 2/13 surface hoar layer (2-4mm) produced ECTN15 results down 30 cm.
@11,000', northeast aspect: The 2/2 interface consisted of 6-8 mm surface hoar (Fist hard) under an 80 cm slab up to pencil hard. ECTP25 results. The 2/13 surface hoar layer (2-4mm) produced ECTP17 results down about 40 cm.
@10,200', southeast aspect: The snow surface is a melting into a thick, supportive crust on slopes steeper than 35 degrees. On low angle slopes (~20 degrees), there was a very thin (<1mm) layer of dry, radiation recrystallization facets surviving above the crust.

A few hard slab avalanches that look like they failed on mid or early February weak layers on northeast ATL terrain on East Beckwith that likely ran during the last storm 3 or 4 days ago. The crowns looked to be about 2 feet deep. There was a newer-looking large slab avalanche across the valley on southeasterly-facing ATL terrain near Middle Anthracite Creek. Some minor wet loose activity from yesterday or today on sunny aspects.
