Red Flags Comment

I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of alarming red flags. Pushed slope angles up to 37 degrees with not much more than a few harmless sluffs. Kept to mostly E and ESE aspects today.

surprisingly quiet out there today, once I escaped the madness that is Dutch Draw. Expected the new snow to be a little more willing to move given the amounts and cold temps, but just didn't see it. Excellent turns everywhere I went. Still feeling the old snow in a few spots.

Instability Comment

lots of evidence of wind moving snow, but not many red flags or snow pit tests results to match.

Leary of the NSF but test results varied in multiple pits.

New snow is settling rapidly, made for great turning conditions.
