Quick report
Picked my way up to top of Microdot and dug a pit. Thanks to HPAC for breaking trail for the first half. Photos tell the story, but top snow was very dense down a facet layer, 1 inch crust layer, followed by a 2 facet layer, then 12 inches of solid snow to the ground. About 27 inches/68 cm deep at a deep point on toward top of Microdot. There is only snow in the middle gut right now and the get out is rocky. Time and storms needed. Rocks still remained my biggest concern as this depth was not everywhere, and it was true rock and roll skiing, hit a soft rock and roll over it. Cheers to all
