Light snowfall began at 1130. Increased to 1” per hour by 1230. In the treeline, wind was SW 5-10 mph, with 15 mph gusts, visibility 200m. Before snowfall increased and visibility reduced, SW winds were observed on ridge lines at speeds in excess of 40 mph. Snow was relatively dry at this temp and elevation. We remained exposed outdoors for 2.5 hrs and everyone’s kit stay dry.
