Broke trail for a couple of miles. Could feel a temperature or rain?? crust for much of the tour from 10-60 cm down. At 7,500' this crust was ~60cm down and 0.5cm thick. Hard to tell, but the snow underneath this crust was a little softer and sugary (possibly some facets). Not sure but I think the crust might be from the break between storms.
CT broke in non-descript area of recent snow. ECTX.
Hardley any facets at the base. Colorado would be jealous.
