Dolomite Shoulder

5cm low-density snow overlying mfCr BTL and in sheltered areas above TL. Evidence of recent L-M SW'erly winds, resulting in wind affected snow above TL and formation of windslab on lee slopes. Observed 2 recent (last 24hrs) Na windslabs, 20-30cm deep on NE asp. sz 1 at 2400m, and sz 2 at 2600m in the steep immediate lee of ridge crest. We stuck to supported terrain on our descent and had reasonably good skiing. Many poorly covered rocks to contend with.
