Quick report
I snowboarded into Warmup Bowl on a NW aspect from the upper ridge about 100 vertical feet below BBQ point. Roughly 3-4 turns in the avalanche broke loose and dropped me on my butt. I stayed on the surface and rode it down about 300 vertical feet with my board out in front of me. I blew my airbag as the slide slowed and remained on top. The crown was about 12 inches deep and appeared to fail on the same persistent weak layer as others have in the area. The forecast was spot on.
