Observation: Farmington Canyon

I found a wind slab(1') avalanche that went sometime last night and propagated maybe 50-60ft but it was right next to a road so only ran like 5 ft.

The wind is piling snow on top of a rain/ice crust from the last week of warm weather and rain in the valley

I made this observation because its not often the conditions are this dangerous this low in the valley, watch for terrain traps, creekbeds etc.
