Our party observed three natural slides on the Cutler Headwall during our tour today. All three slides appeared to have started at, or near, the top of the headwall. There was a significant cornice along the ridge and it is possible that a piece of the cornice may have broken off and triggered at least one of the slides. Alternatively, the steepness of the headwall combined with significant wind loading could have resulted in the slides. We did not observe any tracks or skiers along the ridge during our tour.
