Snowpack

Instability Comment

At 8800ft on a north slope there is 43 (17 inches) of snow. Poor snowpack as seen in the video. All fist density with the exception is a one inch melt/freeze crust one below the "new" snow on the surface. The surface has developed surface hoar rather quickly during the past two nights.

One inch of fast faceted snow on the north slopes. Reasonable turning on the north low angle slopes.
