Quick report

HN ~0-10" depending on wind deposits. Went for a sunset tour up red cone bowl. The had wind deposited snow sporadically. The sun and warmth yesterday had done its damage to the new snow's surface essentially everywhere but north facing slopes over 30 degrees. As the sun started to dip lower in the sky, the surfaces were refreezing. The snow was generally incredibly variable, on a small scale as well. Dense powder was intermixed with refrozen crust and breakable windcrust. Truthfully, Red Cone bowl had about 3 good turns of skiing at the top, before snow conditions back to our bicycles were challenging. The new snow was not enough to cover barren solar aspects or recently exposed rocks and bushes. It should melt out quickly on solar areas.
