Day off ride and ski:
-Recent snow has been reworked by NW wind in this exposed zone.
-Fresh wind slabs ranged from F to 1F hard and were stubborn.
-Todays snowfall started around 1200 and became more intense throughout the day. 4" accumulated in the sled track during a 4 hour tour.
- Felt a couple whumpfs on SW at 6800 ft plus some collapsing under foot on some old wind slab.
-Befriended a mouse.
A couple whumpfs on SW aspect at 6800 feet. Maybe under sun crust. Also some small collapses on old wind slabs through upper elevations. Cracking in recently formed drifts at middle and upper elevations.

Snow and wind started up around noon above 5000 feet. Wind from the NW. S1 at 1600 hrs and winds tapered. Mixed precip below 5000 feet.
