Quick report
•No obvious signs of instability today. Observed several small wet, loose avalanches in Apgar Range from yesterday. •Moderate to strong SW winds with extreme gusts. •Active wind loading but not a lot of snow available for transport due to melt-freeze (sun) crust on southwest through west aspects from Wednesday. •Soft snow still exists on east and north aspects. Hard wind slab approximately 5-10 inches thick on northerly aspects impacted by wind earlier this week and today. However, we observed no cracking within these slabs.

•10+ very small wet, loose avalanches on south aspect in Apgar Range visible from North Fork Road that occurred Wednesday, Jan. 15.
