- Recent Avalanches, Wind Loading, Poor Snowpack Structure
The slab is quite thick and hard in many places. I'd expect it to be stubborn to trigger at this point, but if you manage to collapse a pwl that didn't go during the storm it's going to be big. I am also curious if the slopes that have avalanched cleaned out the WL or if it remains and is now reloaded. It appeared that some of the N-E in the deeper core areas (read upper LCC/BCC ridge line area) may not have naturaled during the storm. Looking over at cardiac bowl and ridge I could not see any evidence of filled in crowns or debris piles (not to say for sure they haven't avalanched).
Snowpack
Lots of wind damage, seemed as though any thing with some slope angle had been wind hammered, only low angle slopes held soft snow where traveled.
