Morrissey ridge

Deeper snowpack than mt. Fernie, accompanied by deeper powder turns. Moderate winds at sunset loading the east side. W side of ridge has been nuked by sun and wind, small insignificant cornices everywhere along the ridge. Best skiing is sheltered N facing terrain. Smaller surface hoar than mt.fernie ridge and less of it. One small whoompf in an isolated shallow rocky area
