Quick report
Four members of the Wasatch Mountain Club and one doggo ski toured in the Slate Creek area. We dug a pit at 7600' on a NE aspect. Snow depth was 105-110 cm. I dug a pit in the same area one week ago and today seemed improved. The snow depth has slightly compacted. I could no longer find evidence of the mid PWL. The base PWL was evident but slightly shrunk. We load tested two columns and neither released.
