Oscar Peak area BT snow profile/conditions

Ceiling steady at 500m. Stayed below treeline due to wind forecast and visibility. Storm snow sitting on top of well preserved MF crust from Jan 15. Minor sluffing on convexities. Rare surface hoar observed in trees.

Incline of profile 35 degrees Results: CTE6 (SC) down 14 on MF Jan 14/15 CTM12 (SP) down 50 on MF Jan 1 CTH28 (SP) down 29 on SH ~Jan 6 MF crust down 14 and 50 are 15cm and 17cm thick!!!!! Is this normal?!
