- Traveled from 7400-10,300, all aspects, slope angles to 35 degrees. At 10,000 ft. there was about 14" (36cm) of snow above the melt freeze crust from last week's warm up. Below about 8500 ft. there was a rain crust above the melt/freeze crust with 4 finger snow in between - this interface was sensitive today but will most likely settle out quickly.
- Cornices have been growing and calving naturally.
- Sluffing of new snow on steep slopes but seemed manageable.
- Pit on a 30 degree, NW facing slope at 10,100 ft. HS189cm(74")
- No results on ECT. CT12-20Q2 on small grain facets 107cm (42") down in the pack.

Excellent spring powder day. I'm not sure how much it snowed today because of the wind but our tracks were mostly filled in by the time we left. Very light density snow.
