Back up on Duke today. About 6 inches of light powder on Duke where I dug and skied but much more in other locations all on all on top of go anywhere snow pack. The trees are still rimmed. Sheltered terrain is excellent for riding and skiing. I was able to kick a small sluff that ran a few hundred feet down a steep south facing chute but it would have been manageable if I was skiing it. I did not feel any collapses or trigger and cracks under my skis/sled. When digging I did observe 3 shearing layers although my ECT did not produce results I did get CT 17 RP on the top layer shown in the pic below. You can see the layers failed planar across the block when I knocked it over.
