Quick report

- Rapid Warming

The warm temps were the biggest news of the day. Wet slide activity the biggest issue today and in the near future.
Nothing alarming or very interesting from pit tests. Weakest interfaces approximately 30 cm down (12") and 60 cm (24").
I would estimate the danger as being low where we traveled today. Low danger tomorrow on shady slopes, moderate on sunny slopes.
Snowpack
Still finding soft snow on north aspects but all other aspects have been sun affected. Surface hoar at lower elevations and surface and near surface faceting noted in my travels. The warm weather should keep surface faceting to a minimum.
