up to 25cm storm snow. easy sudden planar hand shears on solar aspects with the crust. much harder, resistant planar hand shears on the polar aspects, without the melt freeze crust below the new snow, but still got it to slide on a, steeper, unsupported, NE, alpine-ish feature at 2200m. highly variable snow depths up to 130cm. moderate to extreme alder hazard below 1600m. thin snowpack and open water below 1400. light winds, mainly from the south throughout the day, plenty of new snow available for transport if winds increase.
