Partway to Mammoth Head

Great facet powder skiing to be found all around! Some wind crusty/ slabby snow in a SW facing wind affected slope and sighs of recent avalanche activity on a steep, W facing slope. ECTX at our turn around point a little before Mammoth Head on a W facing slope but we still generally avoided avalanche terrain as it was our first time exploring the Fernie backcountry
