Narao Peak - Narao Left

Skied Narao Left today. We turned around before the top due to wind loading, wind affected snow and then sun came out and little spindrifts started coming down. Another party skied Narao Right and also did not top out, looked like good skiing. A group of ~5 on Popes Shoulder and the skiing also looked good from afar

Saw an older avalanche on the ~ east facing slope in the alpine as you approach Narao. It appeared to have a larger crown that created another larger crown further down the slope after going over a cliff. See the picture in the report.
