Great day of riding. Still lots of rocks and trees needing to be covered up. We stayed away from open areas and steep slopes and just took an easy day exploring and getting back into things!
Group dug out a small pit at about 4800’ elevation in a meadow area with a small hill on a roughly 30 degree slope. While testing we evaluated a CTM 3 fracture at 83cm deep. The slab was approximately 54cm. Above this slab was another fracture which was a bit harder to trigger at about 100cm. Snow at this elevation was very hit and miss with lots of wind blown areas in the open. We also tested the pit with body weight and both gave away very easiest with the focused psi of my feet. At the bottom of the pit, around 35cm there were very large facets.
