Quartz Creek

We rode mellow and steep slopes today. The recent storm snow is settling and 25 cm deep. Cornices are impressively big. All aspects had a crusty snow surface up to 2000 m. On solar slopes the crust is present up to 2200 m (our high point) and probably higher. The best riding conditions with dry powder will probably be on north facing alpine slopes.
