Quick Observation
Light, low density precip throughout the day. Thin, early season snowpack. Lower snowpack dominated by depth hoar. Mid-pack combination of facets and crusts. Upper snowpack consisted of unconsolidated storm snow, not developing slab properties. Wind slabs developing in cross loaded lee areas. No whoomphing but localized collapsing and hollow feeling in loaded pockets.
Avalanche Information
Three size 1-1.5 avalanches on similar aspect (NW) in chutes next to each other. No visible crowns, appeared to release from rocks above in previous storm cycle. Wet, chunky debris. Avalanches circled in photos.
Weather
Accumulated 3cm from 10:00 to 15:00.
Snowpack
Profile graph attached. Bottom crust layer strong enough to hold foot pen in many areas, otherwise foot pen to ground.
