Quick Observation
Thursday was a very cloudy and foggy day. Temps were near zero at the base of our climb and it only felt like winter above 1600m where the snow became powdery again. We dug a test pit to ground at 2100m in an open area at Treeline. HS: 120cm, W asp, 35 incl. The snowpack was right side up, and the bottom 20-30cm was moist showing rounding facets. The only significant result was repeatable SPs (Very hard 30+ taps) down 80cm on Dec 1st Decomposing SH (3-6).
