Booterville

Walked up a mellow rib towards the south ridge of Twin cairns, stopped and dug a pit at the top of tree line below a small roll-over in the immediate lee. When approaching pit location(within 30m) I heard several large whumps isolated to that area. No cracking. I skied down the same way and slashed some small test slopes but nothing moved.

Natural size 1.5 on Bourgeau above the waterfall, started near ridgetop in steep terrain and ran about halfway down to the cliff until the slope eased off. Occurred around noon.
