Skied SE and NE aspects of Ball. Winds clearly had come from the N-NE, so loading was greatest on the S-SW. Generally 4” of dense new snow well adherent to underlying crust. Wind loaded to 10” in spots, but similar ski pen. Hasty pit on SSE aspect top of ball had a small wind slab atop crust, 4F->1F below the crust down to an icy base. Little snow available for transport. High clouds attenuated solar effect, wouldn’t expect crusting tomorrow. Watch the firm shallow crust on S as a possible bed surface if wind loaded overnight or tomorrow.
