On our way up Cardiff today, both high pocket and catchers mitt had slid to and over the road. Debris pile was much smaller for catchers, high pocket was 2 to 3 feet high on the road and had ran another couple hundred feet past.
Lots of very loud whomps, collapses, and cracks were noted on our hike up to George's. Snow was variable wind loaded, wet, and not very powdery. The rhime crust/freeze layer was observed to between 8000-8500'. Had softened on our way back down.
