Party of four traveling up the George's skinner noted a crown at top of ridgeline, close to where the skinner had been set. The avalanche appeared to fail on facets in a rocky outcropping on a slope >30 degrees. The avalanche varied in depth along the ridgeline and ran about 150'-200' down the slope, but stopped as the slope angle lessened. After our party ascended to the ridge, it appeared there was a skin track set along the ridgeline over where the slide occurred, which could have been a possible trigger to the slide.
