Traversing underneath wind scoured top of the ridge across small but open and steep slope towards the aspect leading to Bear Trap Aspens. Triggered initial avalanche of storm and wind slab that failed on old facets. Propagated across slope and carried me approximately 30 feet. Slide ran about 70 feet into trees.
