Forecaster notes via phone call with reporting party:
- Actually three avalanches. First one initially triggered while attempting a slope cut. There were two subsequent avalanches. Solo skier.
- Second avalanche was about 20 feet wide.
- Third avalanche was about 100 feet wide.
- First avalanche was "way bigger"
We suspect these were paths that had previously avalanched. We call them repeater avalanches.
