While skiing a small chute by lake blanche I was caught and carried in a small wet slide. I kind of thought I might cause some wet loose slide, so I started skiing on the side of the chute to avoid any sluff and after a few turns I didn't see anything come by me so I turned into the middle of the chute. I stupidly did not look up at this point and skied right into the toe of the slide. It knocked me off my feet and it very slowly carried me another 25 ft down the chute and stopped on the flat runout. I was not being cautious because I felt if anything did slide it would be very small and would not go very far, but it was definitely a bit bigger than I expected.

If this had been in more consequential terrain or swept me into trees it could've been bad though. Never let your guard down! Also remember to always look up.
