Went out for a beta walk to discover a weak and shallow snowpack, to no surprise. In my opinion nothing was rideable, but I was still able to intentionally trigger a facet sluff that gouged 1 foot deep, fanned out to ~25 feet wide and ran about 200 vertical feet. This was on a Northeast aspect at 10,000ft.
I also had small localized collapsing and cracking around buried roots and rocks on shady aspects. The snow was shallow across the drainage with the deepest windloaded aspects barely reaching 2ft.
