Quick report
Propagation was again found this weekend on SW aspects around 2k with a height of snow at 115cm and the layer of concern now down 55cm. Last week in this same location failure was around 40cm down and required less loading steps to achieve propagation. ECTP25's were found today where ECTP15's were happening a week ago in the same location. While it appears the persistent slab problem in Vermont is becoming a bit harder to trigger, the size and consequence are rising creating the lower probability higher consequence scenario. No red flags noticed today although the photo of the avalanche below was likely 24-48hrs prior although trigger and timing are unknown. This avalanche failed on a layer of facets down 45-60cm on a N/ NE @ 2500'.

Calm winds with patches of sun . Solar radiation caused minor rollerballs and dampened the snow surface slightly on steeper southern aspects today.
