The breakable melt freeze crust from 3/26 is widespread and very punchy. The crust is 1-2mm thick, over a soft layer, which sits over the bulletproof old surface. It extends through the fan and into the gully bases & found on the Alpine Garden. The Winter Lion Head route currently holds a considerable amount of water ice.
