Quick report
Did not go above 7800’ today and stayed on low angled slopes. Snowpack is shallow and a facet and crust sandwich. It does not cover the majority of sagebrush and deadfall. Widespread surface hoar on top of a stout crust that was pretty much everywhere but thicker on S side of the compass. Some sunny slopes did moisten and soften in the afternoon which took care of some surface hoar and crustiness. Skies were clear, light wind if any and warm temps.
