Quick report
The SE side of ridge has cornices, the trees above 10,000ft had rime on their NW side, and we observed wind loading along the NW side of the ride, especially in openings in the trees. At 10,300ft in a wind loaded area we produced a moderate hand sheer 20cm down on facets.

Snowpack
We dug a pit at 10200ft on a N aspect, slope angle 28 degrees, with a 140cm height of snow. We found the forecasted persistent weak layer 90cm down, and facets in the bottom 27cm of the snowpack including depth hoar at the ground. We performed an ECT and observed no propagation in either of these layers (ECTX).
