Wind textured snow and wind slabs 2"-8" thick were found in exposed areas above 9000'. Thin sun crusts and small rollers balls were observed on W aspects below 9500' in the afternoon. Near surface faceting in the new snow was widespread but not well developed. Surface hoar was not observed.
