Cracking
isolated

New snow over the last 24 hours was fairly low density and right-side up until 9500' where the wind was drifting snow. 8-12" of new snow with up to 18" in upper elevation wind drifted areas. Less wind effect than the intial storm yesterday. New snow was bonding well to previous interfaces of wind scoured or loaded snow from  yesterday. Dry loose or sloughing was easy to initiate on very steep terrain. Moderate wind increased above 9500'. Lots of snow available for transport.

Consistent snowfall S-1 for most of the day with increased wind in the afternoon out of the west/southwest. Good news, the sagebrush was finally covered in the valley. Only took till the middle February.

New snow slab developmemt from wind was in isolated-specific terrain above 9500'. Far less widespread than yesterday.
