Quick report

Sun affect on straight S facing slopes. Thin breakable refrozen prev sun crust on shady SE aspects. Wet snow surface in direct sun, only due S aspects affected, and mostly melted surface hoar SH on surface. All other aspects either had preserved SH or just not present. Only Small D1 loose snow slides on 40deg slopes , see pic.

Light ridgetop winds, no snow transport. Sun melting snow on in trees on S aspects.

Snowpack

6700' SW aspect- snowpack height 125cm, F hard to 95cm, 95-70cm 4F hard, thin 0.5 cm thick crust at 70cm. Surprisingly, no other crusts found here. CT8 RP ×2 at 95cm. CT24 RP at 70cm. Did not see much recent wind affect. Surface hoar on the surface, average 4mm, at mid and upper elevations intermittent specific distribution.
