Snowpack
The most recent rain crust from 11/22 was still in the process of setting up and was the source of failure in snowpack tests, but not concerning today. Good stability overall throughout our tour. Very erratic winds, 5 to 10 mph / G15 mph out of variable directions, forming small stubborn wind-drifted slabs on a lot of aspects near the treeline and above. We saw evidence of Loose Wet avalanches that ran during the last rain event in terrain around 45 degrees. The debris was covered up with about 4 to 6 inches of fresh snow.
