Just confirming the IPAC report...the wind slammed in hard on all aspects! A snowy reset is needed up here! The wind slabs ranged from soft to being so hard I couldn't set an edge or even break through, no matter the effort. 1"-2" crusts were common. I wasn't getting much propagation, but the instabilities were obvious. The soft snow was in the sheltered trees, but even that was sprinkled with frozen speed bumps...I'm too old for that! Oh, and the snowmobile access down low still sucks, so bring your rock sled;~( Hey, at least it was a beautiful sunny day with amazing views! These are times to get out and explore, to find those hidden gems and future objectives, for when the snow recovers.
