Observed

Good stability was observed on N Odyssey Gulley and Loveland. Visible concerns in the immediate area were limited to dry loose or wet loose slides depending on the aspect. 20cm of new Snow at higher elevations to 5500 feet had soft slab characteristics but was unreactive.  

Visible recent avalanche activity was limited to dry loose D1 slides on colder aspects elevations and a few wet loose on sunny aspects. Some cracking in the soft new snow was observed between switchbacks.

Low clouds quickly clearing in the late morning. Occasional snow transport from light Easterly winds.

Snowpack

1.2-meter deep pit at 3500 feet showed good stability. Ect results were ECTN 10 at 15 and ECTN 20 @ 35. The snowpack below the recent snow was well bonded consisting of mostly 1F to P hard rounded grains.
