In the lower elevations, wind affect was not as present as elevations above about 3000'. A thin wind skin has developed that affects riding quality above 3000, but overall quality is still great. We didn't travel above 4300', but visibility was good and we could see that a lot of ridges were scoured by outflow winds yesterday. We did see some wet loose activity on southerly aspects across the highway under rocks, but nothing stepped down into a slab. We dug a pit on a north facing aspect at 4300' and had stable results from the single ECT we did. We saw no signs of instability in the basin, but didn't dig deeper than 160cm to find the thick layer of facets that could be present deeper in the snowpack. The height of snow at our pit location was 415cm.
