Quick report

Traveled up Crudbusters to top of bushline. Surface conditions varied from knife hard wind board, 1/15 raincrust that had been scoured, near surface facets at the valley bottom, and some bare ground at upper elevations. Snowpack has very poor structure in the Continental zone, Fist hard 4-6mm facets were found below the December knife hard wind board. In areas that have been scoured over the past week these old layers are much closer to the surface now that much of the snow from the previous month has blown away. We have not seen any avalanche activity on this layer in a while but it's a bad set up and shouldn't be trusted.
